Dog days...
Well, so here it is, halfway into summer. I fell off the edge of the blogging world for a while there, what with work and everything. But life has resumed some semblance of normalcy, and here's to a relaxing month and a half before grad school starts! Yes, I just realized I never posted a word about it...I got accepted into grad school! I actually got accepted into both grad and paramedic school, so I sadly had to turn down my acceptance into the paramedics program. :( That was a hard thing to do, as I have absolutely loved being an EMT-B so far. But there's no way I could have turned down acceptance into grad school, especially with the package they offered me. I feel so very blessed!
I've finally been able to get back into fencing and costuming...also am trying to finally finish that young adult novel so I can begin marketing it. We'll see. I want to finish it before the end of August...but that's not terribly likely. *sigh*
Well, today we received a reminder that the war on terror is not over. Sadly, London was the choice target of the terrorists, but I know for me it brought home all too painfully the memory of 9-11-01. We send our thoughts and prayers to the British people, and especially the victims and their families. And we send a great big combat boot straight for the terrorists'...*cough*
